Magnesium Oxide board (also called MGO board or Magnum board) is a new green building material, with properties that give advantages in many construction structures. It contributes to a more efficient, profitable, environmentally and health-friendly construction production. It has excellent fire and sound properties, sensitive to moisture, very shock-resistant and produced entirely without environmentally and health-hazardous raw materials. This board is very easy to process, and can be advantageously cut and broken as a plasterboard.
Wellyoung brand MgO Subflooring board is mainly made of magnesium oxide, magnesium sulphate or magnesium chloride, perlite and wood fiber. As the reinforcement, Wellyoung is using 4 layers of high quality platinum fiberglass mesh in the boards, which is to make the boards strong enough when used for the subfloor board. Also, the special Shiplap or T&G edge design is convenient for the fast installation.

MgO Board is fire resistant, it has a “zero” flame spread and smoke developed rating.
