Replacement method and cycle
Installation method (for reference only):
The first step is to prepare the fuel filter suitable for the original vehicle model and the tools to be used to prevent static electricity and put safety first.
Step 2:Due to the pressure in the fuel system, release the pressure in the fuel system to avoid fuel injection or fire accidents.
Step 3: remove the fuel filter. Place the oil receiving cup under the oil pipe and remove the disposable pipe clamps on both sides with pliers.
Step 4: pull out the pipe at the oil inlet of the fuel filter. At this time, the fuel in the pipe will overflow and introduce the oil into the cup. When the flow is small, put on the pipe clamp and connect the oil inlet of the new filter as soon as possible, and temporarily plug the interface at the other end. At the same time, the oil inlet of the old filter should also be blocked.
Step 5: pull out the other end of the old filter and connect it to the new filter. Tighten the pipe clamp with a screwdriver to prevent oil leakage. Then install the replaced fuel filter back to its original position.
Step 6: start the car and idle for a period of time to see if there is oil leakage at the interface of the fuel filter. If not, it indicates that the installation is good and the replacement is completed.
Recommended replacement cycle：
It is recommended to replace the fuel filter every 20000 km. Refer to the instructions in the vehicle manual for the specific best replacement time.
