1. SOS Alarm
This device can send SMS for SOS alarm.
Pressing the SOS button, the alarm LED turns on, and the buzzer starts ringing (the default ring time is 3 minutes). Then the device send alarm SMS to preset main number. Press this button again will stop the buzzer, and the device return to the previous status before alarm.
Alarm SMS numbers (max. 5 groups), main number (1 group) and the SMS content could all be set by users themselves. (Please check “System Settings” below for detailed setting method.) Default SMS is “Fire Emergency”.
2. Smoke Alarm
The smoke detecting of this device is base on photoelectric technology. When it detects smoke, it will make call and send SMS to the preset phone numbers.
If there’s trigger again within 3 minutes after the first alarm, this device will not send alarm signal. And within the 3 minutes, if the user press SOS button, or arm the device by SMS, the buzzer will stop ringing, and the device can return detecting 1min 40sec later.
After sending the alarm SMS, the device will turn to arm status automatically.
3. Reset
Keep pressing the SOS button for 5 seconds, (loose it until the buzzer makes a long beep), the device will come to factory reset status. All settings will return to default.
Operation Guidance
1. Insert a SIM card into the card slot. Make sure that the SIM card has enough balance to make call and send SMS.
2. Connect the power adaptor. The LED indicator will be on for about 10 seconds and the device starts self-check. If it detects the SIM card, the buzzer will make two long beeps; and if not, it will make four short beeps. If the indicator flashes every two seconds, it means the main number hasn’t been set; if it keeps flashing quickly, it means main number been set but SIM card not detected.
3. To make sure that all the settings are in default before using, you could make reset.
4. Set main number. Only this number could do settings to the smoke alarm device.
5. Now you could do other settings and put this device into use.
6. During the whole working status, this device would check the GSM network. Then the GSM signal is less than 20% (not strong enough to make call and send SMS), the alarm LED will keep flashing quickly as mentioned above. At this time, you should change the place of the device until the signal LED comes into normal.
7. This device has power off/ recovery alert function. When the external power is disconnected, it will be powered by the backup battery, and send a SMS “Power charger off”. And the SMS for external power recovery is “Power charger on”.
