Attach Your Hooks Properly!
Cluster hooks like our 15'' J-Hook, T-J Hooks, and Grab Hooks are designed for modern cars, and ensuring they're properly secured is vitally important for the safety of the vehicle and roadways! 1. Grab Hooks should always be attached to the under-carriage, or "dirty" side, of the vehicle. Hook the T and J-Hooks in the proper fitting holes. Give chains an extra tug for reassuring support.
The master pear ring attaches easily to the winch cable, and our grab hooks make for easy adjustment on the chain length. Attach to vehicle Axel. Improperly placed 15'' J-Hooks can damage and bend the aluminum in the front and rear bumpers.
Grade 70 Chains should NEVER be used for overhead lifting;Grades 80, 100, and 120 chains are better built for overhead lifting.
