Steps for How to Brew Beer

1. Cook15L purified water to 70℃ in the mashing pot. In the meantime, use the grinder to mill the malt to small particle.

2. Put malt particle into filter bag and then add it into the 70℃ water. Adjust the temperature to 66~68℃, which is the best temperature for mashing. Keep this temperature for 1 hour, during this period, the starch in the malt will be switched to malt sugar. This is mashing process.

3. Since the malt particle is placed in the filter bag, when mashing process finished, we can use clean water to filter the malt liquid for several times to get the clearest liquid.

4. Syphon the malt liquid into the mashing pot and boil it. Add 15g bitter hops into it after 30 minutes. Add 15g bitter hops again after 1 hour. Finally add 20g fragrant hops after 1.5 hours. The whole boiling process will take 1.5 hours.

5. Use cooling coil pipe to cooling down the malt liquid to less 25 ℃.

6. Stir the liquid and keep still for 10 minutes to make protein sink at the bottom. Then pour the clearer liquid to the disinfected fermentation pot.

7. Add yeast to the fermentation pot. Seal the lid tightly, also install vent valve.

8. After 2 ~3 weeks, when the vent valve has no bubbles coming out any more, the beer finally is good for bottling.
