It has small waved teeth to grip the tissue of body. Our micro metal injection moulding /μ-MIM® technology realises mass production of such small metal components with complicated design e.g) free curves, undercut and hollow structure.

These set of forceps was required to have smooth surface. Therefore, the miling and cutting process would be recognised as feasible manufacturing methods for such medical components. Whereas their production capability is limited due to the long production time caused by many processes such as chucking to achive the precise tolerance.
Based on experiences in our µ-MIM® technology for more than 25 years, we have realised the serial production of complicated medical components. Since it is free from chucking issue, large volume production of small precise component production is possible with our technology.
We deploy world's leading fine metal power in our process so the smooth surface shows up on the as-sintered part. The fine powder realises high reflection of mould design so most surface modification is also feasible.
We produce components with our 3D-MIM® technology which realises to shape components in 3D design with internal structure.
This technology helps to skip welding process and assembly process by producing the components with multiple function at once.
Post treatment such as polising, plating, coat treatment are also available after sintering.
In our quality assurance system certified by ISO13485, high resolution measurement apparatuses are deployed, such X-ray CT, optical 3D measurement machine, SEM, which enable to measure the whole part of the component, even with the complicated inner structure without destruction of the component's detail. They prove our high end technology as well as the guranteed quality of the components we produce.

Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established in January 1972 as a plastic injection moulding manufacturer. Aside from improving our technology in the plastic injection moulding, we organised an R&D group in Kyoto Research Park about 25 years ago, to start researching on MIM technology. We utilise our knowledge and experience from the plastic injection moulding and developed original MIM material (binder system and feedstock), which makes it possible to manufacture small and complex shaped MIM components for serial production. Taisei Kogyo Co., Ltd. has obtained ISO13485 in May 2019. TAISEI KOGYO (THAILAND) CO., LTD. was established in August 2011 and started its operation in 2012. We maintain the same production standard as Japanese factory.
