Organic Frankincense (Olibanum) gum grade 3 harvested directly from the nature of the Savanna in Africa (the western region of Sudan). It's size is small (less than 5mm) and includes almost no tree barks. It's color is light yellow to light brownish.
Frankincense is an aromatic resin used in incense and perfumes, obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia in the family Burseraceae. The word frankincense is derived from the Old French franc encens, meaning “pure incense” and it’s an aromatic gum resin obtained from an African tree (Boswellia papyrifera). It is a milky white exudation consisting of 3–8%volatile oil, 60–70% alcohol-soluble resin and 27–35% water soluble gum, which soon hardens on exposure to the atmosphere.
