Definition of palm granulation line

Take palm waste as raw material, through pretreatment and processing, it is solidified and extruded into high-density pellet fuel. It can save energy and reduce emissions and has good economical and social benefits. Biomass pellet fuel has a high calorific value, with its calorific value ranging from 3,900 to 4,800 kcal /kg. The calorific value after carbonization can reach 7000-8000 kcal /kg. Palm pellet can be widely used in biomass power plants, biomass steam boilers, domestic fireplaces, ovens and biomass gasifier etc. It is an efficient and clean renewable energy.

There are mainly palm shell, palm leaf, and palm fruit channeling EFB,etc.

Flow process brief introduction

Palm waste is coarsely crushed through a drum beater and then cut into fine powder through a special palm cutter. Then, after the pre-cleaner, the raw material with 50% moisture entering the 3 layers drum dryer, is dried into about 15% moisture. and finally is pelleted. The diameter of the finished product is 6-10mm, which is optional. After the pelleting and cooling, it is packed into 20-50kg/bag by the small bag packing scale which is convenient to transport and sell. Palm pelleting complete project with 5tph, the total power is be around 890kw. The workshop covers an area of 2400 m2, contains raw material and finished products warehouse; The design of the whole line is compact, reasonable, meets the requirements of environmental protection, and can be customized according to customer requirements.

The working process is as follows

Grinding process

The palm shell, palm leaf, palm fruit channeling go through the drum beater first, the long fiber shape palm silk is roughly grind ed into 5-10cm long. Then cut into the palm grass powder by the special palm cutter. After grinding, the material is transported by the fan's negative pressure suction air pressure, with high output, low pollution and effective inhibition of dust pollution in the workshop.

cleaning process

The purpose of the complete palm-pelleting project in the cleaning process is to clean up the major impurities in the raw materials, so as to avoid the failure or damage of the mechanical equipment and conveying equipment in the next process. The pre-cleaner is characterized by high output, less power consumption, simple structure, small space, easy maintenance and easy installation.

Drying process

The drying process of the complete set of palm granulation project is three layer drum dryer, specially used for sawdust,adopts three return form, covers a small land, with high drying efficiency, small heat loss, internal heat exchange rate in the dryer more than 90%. The dryer heating supply is automatic feeding by pneumatic conveying equipment, not manual, reduces manpower cost. After drying, the moisture content of sawdust is around 13-18%.

Drying equipment: LYHG50, roller diameter of 3m, length of 11.6m, power of 19kw, designed output 5tph (original moisture of raw material is 50%).

Pelleting process

Five sets of MZLH420 pellet mills are designed in the granulating process to produce 5tph.  The diameter of biomass particles is 6-10mm, which is optional. And the biomass particles have the characteristics of high calorific value, no pollution and low ash content, which can be widely used in biomass power plants, biomass steam boilers, household fireplaces, drying furnaces and biomass gasifier. The complete set of granulation project of palm has obvious advantages in the granulator process: the granulator is equipped with a forced feeder, and the material is forced into the ring die chamber, which can make the granulator operate smoothly, do not block and produce efficiently. Specially designed arch breaking screw conveyor, so that the bad fluidity material can be feeded smoothly.

Granulating equipment: MZLH420, host power: 90kw, power of mandatory feeder: 0.75kw, designed output: 1t/set , quantity: 5sets. 

Cooling and bagging process

 The cooling process of the complete set of palm granulation project is by using of cooler to reduce particle temperature and decrease grain moisture. It is low energy consumption, easy operation and high automatic degree. The pellet after cooler is not higher than room temperature 5 ℃, pellet moisture after cooled is around 8-10%, particle density 650-750 kg/m3.

The bagging scale is according to the customer's local sales needs, the appropriate packing scale is selected to facilitate the customer to sell products. There are usually two specifications: small bag and ton bag. 20-50kg/bag for small bags, 500-1000kg/bag for ton bags. The packing scale has high automation degree, high packing accuracy, and the weighing system is a sensor measuring system with high sensitivity and strong anti-interference ability.

Packing equipment: SDBLY-K, packing range: 20-50kg/ bag, 3-5 bags/min.
