Operational Instructions

1. Install the battery and press the "POWER" button to start.
2. Press the "H% IT" key to select the test items of the instrument: the moisture content of the tested grain or the temperature of the environment in which the probe is located. When measuring the moisture content of grain, the instrument shows'*. *%', and when measuring the temperature of the probe's position, the instrument shows'* * * c'.
The startup instrument is in the state of measuring grain moisture content by default.
3. Measuring grain moisture content: Make sure that the instrument is in the state of displaying grain moisture content. Select the type of grain to be measured according to the "SELECT" key (the type is represented by the display screen 1, 2, 3, 4, 1 is wheat, 2 is rice, 3 is rice, 4 is corn). Insert the probe into the grain to be measured, then the grain moisture can be measured. The instrument shows the moisture content of grain to be measured. During the measurement process, if the "MAX NOLO" key is pressed, the "MAX" is displayed on the screen, the instrument enters the maximum holding mode, and then the "MAX HOLD" key is pressed again to exit the mode. In the maximum holding mode, the display will be updated only if the measured value is larger than the current display value, otherwise it will not be updated. The side button is the numeric holding key. For the first time, press and select the numeric holding function (the "H" symbol of the display screen), and then press and cancel the function (the display screen does not display the "H" symbol).

4. Measuring temperature: When selecting the position temperature of the probe, the instrument can roughly display the temperature of the environment in which the probe is located. At this time, the switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit can be made by pressing "SELECT" (the instrument shows Celsius by default).
5. After measuring, turn off the instrument according to "POWER", and the instrument goes into dormancy.
6. Turn on/off the display backlight
Open the battery cover of the rear case and take out the bottom battery. According to your needs, you can pull the backlight control switch to ON (for backlight opening) and OFF (for backlight closing). After booting, if the switch has been set to ON, the backlight will be lit, otherwise the backlight will not be bright.

Notes

1. This instrument is a high resistance instrument, each part has good insulation. When using and preserving, we should pay attention to moistureproof and dustproof, keep dry and clean, so as not to affect the accuracy of measurement.
2. Grain pressure has a great influence on moisture measurement when using measuring probe. Generally, the measurement is the most accurate when laying single sack. When laying multi-layer sack, the lower grain pressure is large and the index is on the high side. It should be revised according to the experience accumulated in use, subtracting the influence value of grain pressure, so as to make the reading more accurate. The greater the moisture content of grain, the greater the impact on the measurement of grain pressure. The moisture content is below 13%, and the impact of grain pressure on the measurement is very small.
3. When measuring multi-layered grain with measuring probe, as long as the influence of grain pressure is reduced according to the accumulated experience, even if the samples of high moisture packaged grain placed in multi-layers are measured, they can still be tested accurately (+0.5%). However, if the relationship between measurement accuracy and grain pressure must be considered, the grain bags should be placed on a single layer. Measuring probe is inserted from top to bottom, and the data measured by single-layer placement and multi-layer placement can be compared to summarize the experience.
