The ionization zone consists of a discharge electrode (ionization wire) and an electrode. When DC high voltage (positive voltage) is applied to the discharge electrode, corona discharge will occur on the surface of the discharge electrode. When dust particles in the air pass through the ionization zone, the dust particles gain charge, and the larger the particle size, the more charged.
The dust collection area is composed of several groups of parallel high voltage plates and grounding plates. The positive and negative plates are placed in parallel to generate uniform electric field. The positively charged dust particles enter the uniform electric field with air flow and are repelled by the anode plate and quickly attracted to the negative dust collecting plate of the electrostatic filter.
The electronic precipitator is designed to flow in horizontal direction, which is easy to install in HVAC system and central air conditioning system. The electrode design adopts pressed aluminum plate as dust collecting electrode. The structure layout is more flexible, can be assembled into various sizes of specifications, combined electrostatic precipitator cross-section area can be from a few square meters to a few square meters. The charging and separation of dust are divided into two space areas, which are suitable for dust removal of high specific resistance dust. It can prevent back corona, and has the characteristics of small size, small metal consumption and low power consumption.
