Product Description

Dissolved air flotation (DAF) is an efficient process for separating suspended solids, grease and other insoluble impurities from water. The DAF system uses chemical pretreatment and microbubbles to separate contaminants from the water. Wastewater pretreatment reduces total suspended solids (TSS), oils, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) and metal concentrations. Some DAF clarified wastewater is circulated and supersaturated by air at high pressure. When these waters are released into the DAF system under atmospheric conditions, microbubbles are formed and the suspended solids are brought to the surface for removal.
