Mushrooms are pickles following ancestral Russian recipes, very popular mushroom in Russia. It has a large cap (from 7 to 30 cm), which is brown (shades vary from dark-brown to light beige), and a light cone-shaped stipe (from light beige to light brown) (8 to 25 cm. long), covered with a netlike white pattern.
Mushroom's flesh is thick, firm and carnose, its color is white and does not change through time. It has a high nutrition value. It has a pleasant mushroom scent and a great taste. It is consumed all over the world from ancient times. Cep relates to first category eatable mushrooms, that is, it is well digested by the human body. It is an inseparable part of different national cuisines.
