5.We has proven to be compatible with all commercial silicone sealants used for structural glazing. It has a highly aggressive adhesive on both sides, and a semi-rigid, open cell structure that maintains the required spacing, and allows air and moisture to reach the silicone to allow optimum curing. Its low conductivity reduces heat transfer and inhibits condensation on windows, doors, and metal systems.
6.The Tape is designed as a spacer for glass, metal, stone, mineral cement, and plastic panels in structural silicone glazing systems.
7.Typical Properties Density: 31 lbs./cu.ft. (497 kg/m³); Hardness: 35 durometer Shore A; Force to Compress 10%: 31 psi (214 (kPa); Tensile Strength: 180 psi (1241 kPa); Elongation: 125%; Temperature Range: Application 60°F (16°C) to 125°F (52°C); Service -40°F (-40°C) to 180°F (82°C).
