The instrument is a portable resistor with a specification of 103 ohms/meter 2 to 1012 ohms/m2 with an accuracy of ±10 1/2. It is mainly used to measure the surface resistance grounding resistance. When measuring the surface resistance, just place the instrument on the surface of the object and press the red test button. About the use of the grounding wire inside: The grounding wire is inserted into the tester jack, the parallel electrode corresponding to the direction of the jack is insulated, and then the object is tested by using the crocodile clip at the other end of the parallel electrode and the grounding wire. Generally, the non-planarized product can be tested. , or test the resistance of the workbench and the ground test, etc. There are 10 indicators. When the tester is attached to the surface of the object and the red button is pressed, the corresponding light will light up. 3-5 is conductive, 6-12 is antistatic coefficient (surface resistivity), and the other separate lamp position is insulated lamp.

Anti-static tester measurement index description:

10 to 3-5 power = conductor

10 to the 10-10th power = anti-static (ESD anti-static standard)

10-11 of the 10th power = insulator (12th power completely insulated)

Note: The measured object can not be too humid, otherwise it will affect the test accuracy!

 
Surface resistance of the object:
The 12th power ohm with a resistance greater than 10 is an insulator. An 11-th power ohm of greater than 10 to the sixth power of less than 10 is an antistatic body. A fifth power ohm of greater than 10 to the third power of less than 10 is an electrical conductor.

The concept of anti-static plastic:

when the surface resistance of plastics and products: more than 10 times, it is easy to generate static electricity; it has certain anti-static performance between 8-10 times; there is a good between 6-8 powers.
