Product Description
Surge pulses occur due to direct or indirect lightning strikes or by power system switching transients caused by switching inductive loads or short circuits. This leads to currents or electromagnetic fields causing high voltage or current transients. The energy is particularly large. The maximum voltage of SUR S20 lightning surge generator can reach 20KV. And the open-circuit voltage waveform is 1.2/50 μs (pulse rising time is 1.2 μs, pulse half-peak width time is 50 μs). Short-circuit current waveform is 8/20 μs (pulse rising time is 8μs, pulse half-peak width time is 20μs). Product fully meets the requirements of latest standards IEC/ EN 61000-4-5 and GB/T17626.5.
