Q: I do not have home internet. Will the signal booster require home internet to work?
A: No, the signal booster does not need home internet to work. And it will boost the signal and provide you internet access via 3G or 4G data from your carriers.
Q: What is the separation distance between outside antenna and inside unit when installing the booster system?
A: The outside antenna and inside antenna is better to be at least 20 feet(about 6 meter) vertical or 50 feet(about 15 meter) horizontal away.
Q: The signal booster appears to boost received signal. What about transmitting signal from my phone?
A: Both the receiving signal and transmitting signal will be improved by the signal booster. Your phone signal will get stronger in either way.
Q: Will the signal booster work in a metal building with the unit inside and without an outside antenna?
A: No, you will need an outside antenna to collect a signal to send to the amplifier and then an indoor antenna to broadcast that signal to your cell phone.
Q: Does this signal repeater work without broadband internet?
A: The signal repeater does not need broadband internet access to work. It's simply a cell phone signal booster, meaning that it boosts your cell phone signal inside. The way it does that is through an external antenna you mount outside connected to an amplifier inside, which then connects to an indoor antenna inside. It has nothing to do with internet service. It is for increasing the cellular signal for cellular devices.
