Vertical single spiral mixer machine

(i) Vertical mixer machine

1. Single spiral vertical mixer machine

The machine upgrades, scatters and mixes the materials through a spiral in the middle. Since the machine is about three meters high, so the materials descend, scattered and mixed by gravity. Because the density of different materials, they get mixed evenly difficult, inefficient, slow and remain some in the lower part when leaking, which causes the mixed-uniformity only 80%. So, its only suitable for fodder, low-grade putty powder mixture, not suitable for high-grade insulation putty powder or dry-mixed mortar.

A. The proportion of raw materials isnt even due to the putty powder and thermal insulation in the slurry of external wall containing powders, cellulose, cement, quartz sand and other materials, of which the smallest proportion is only a few parts per thousand and 80% of the basic uniformity can not be evenly mixed.

B. The shares of the production of raw materials are not even and the materials are whether heavy or weight, which maybe differ scores of times. And, heavy materials like quartz sand falls first, and cellulose after, causing longlasting layered. Therefore, it can never be mixed evenly and impossible to produce qualified products. However, because vertical transmission is not easy to have a body shock, its possible to produce high-capacity mixers with thin metal, which is power-saving, low cost cheap.

2. Dual-axis vertical mixer with cone snail

This type of machine has a cone-shaped body and brings the production of raw materials to in different directions through dual-axis to promote mixed results and avoid the dead-end which leads to mixed-uniformity and no residual. However, it still has the following shortcomings:

A. Inconvenient installation
The body height of the machine is too high;
Increasing the transportation high of raw materials.

B. Mixed less amount
Small volume, low utilization rate and the increase in production costs.
For example, every set of 1 cubic meter volume of mixer can only mix about 850 kilograms per time. Such a small amount mixing only causes the high price of machinery and difficult to meet the needs of high-volume production. So, generally speaking, the workflows do not use dual-axis mixer.

(ii) Horizontal mixer

Horizontal mixer can avoid mixed-layered process caused by the gravity effects of the different density of materials in the production, meanwhile, it facilitates the installation and costs little.

1. Horizontal mixer with single-axis and single screw

The most typical representative of horizontal mixer with single-axis and single screw is the mortar mixer. As the single screw promotes materials in one direction, they mix with low efficiency, higher residues, and suitable for mixture of cement mortar with no additive paste, but not suitable for powder mixing such as putty powder, dry mixing mortar thermal insulation materials, etc.

2. Horizontal uniaxial mixer with screws

It adopts horizontal cylinder, uniaxial linking even from inside and outside with two to three spiral, which will enable the production of raw materials fully mixed in different directions. Theres a very small distance between the outer spiral and the cylinder, and less residue after the leak, horizontal mixer has an flexible open door in the lower part of the body in order to clean-up it when switches a different species. Its easy to install, little noise, mixed-efficient, and suitable for producing a variety of raw materials of powdery dry-mixed mortar such as putty powder, thermal insulation, etc. Furthermore, for its low-cost, its ideal production facilities for smaller investment of small business. Generally speaking, this type of machine has been producing by chemical equipment companies in Shanghai, Shandong, Jiangyin, Changzhou and other places.

During our long-term production practice, we found that theres a 40-degree angle between the outer tube wall and the spiral, which causes the no longer movement of raw materials when they pass the Axial on the surface, and it leads to the materials unevenly mixed. As a result, only 85% of the machine is utilized and the cost of the machine is bigger. We change the shape of the body from the U-converted into an oval and the flat top into round top so as to get the materials fully mixed when they falls, which raises the utilization rate 30% of the mixer. For example, as a equipment of 1,000 KG amount, before the conversion, its adding amount is only 850 KG, however, when modified, its adding amount has increased to 1200KG. Whats more, such a modification has no extra cost, which meets with the increasing of user's welcome.

3. Horizontal weightless Mixer with dual-axis and dual-blades:

The machine belongs to the weightless mixer, which is widely used for mixing of powder such as putty powder, dry mortar, insulation mortar material, etc.

Features:

The dual-axis rotation speed drived by reducer and the structure of blade would weaken gravity of the materials. And with the disappearance of the materials gravity, the differences in particle size and proportion would disappear in the process of mixing. Fierce stiring campaign has shortened the time of per mixing process and gotten faster and more efficient. Weightless mixer is equipped with dual-axis spinning and reverse blades in the body of horizontal cylinder, and they will be overturning with a certain angle along the axial and radial circulation so as to get the variety of materials quickly and evenly mixed.
