Introduction | This is 18500 battery, high capacity 18500 lithium rechargeable batteries with flat top. Not 18650 battery, can not compatible with devices that using 18650 batteries. Some LED flashlights that normally come with an insert that holds 3 AAA batteries wired in series to power the flashlight. If you use a single 18500 battery instead. (18mm diameter, 500mm long). It replaces the 3 AAA holder which is about 3mm longer and wider diameter. More watt hours than using 3 NiCd or NIMH and much cheaper than 3 1.5V Li-Ion AAA rechargeables. If you have one of these multiple LED flashlights using 3 AAA batteries, just check to see if the length of the battery pack is about 54mm ( 1 3/32 inch) long and if so the 18500 will work. Even though the battery is a smaller diameter it will works fine but you can also use a sleeve for a better fit.
