A tracheostomy tube has a curved tube that is inserted into a tracheostomy stoma.
The Tracheostomy Tube consists of four parts: tube, stylet (obturator), flange, straps and 22mm connector. The obturator/stylet is used for the placement of the tube. Once placed, the obturator is removed. The tube will be secured around the neck with the flange and the straps. The connector will be linked with the circuits for oxygenation/ventilation.
