GlobalTime Wi-Fi Clocks connect to a wireless local network and are capable of taking the accurate time from any NTP server. The
GlobalTime Wi-Fi clocks come pre-programmed with the web addresses of public internet NTP servers. Each clock can be set and
controlled through a user-friendly built-in web interface from any computer or mobile device (such as a tablet or smart phone).

Since Wi-Fi is the means of communication, GlobalTime Wi-Fi Clocks are ideal for facilities in need of many or just a few clocks
spread far apart. It is also a great solution for multi-building campus environments utilizing existing Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Clock Features
1. Available with 4” digits, 4 digit display or 6 digit display 2. Red display standard; Optional Blue, Green, Amber displays 3. Time is automatically set by Simple Network Time Protocol(SNTP)- no master clock or serial connection required
4. Each clock comes programmed with 5 third party NTP servers 5. Operates on existing Wi-Fi Infrastructure- no need of network cable distribution. 6. Static IP or DHCP addressing 7. 12 or 24 hour display  8. Automatic Daylight Saving Time change (if applicable) 9. Adjustable brightness (brilliant, bright, normal, dim, off) 10. Capability to receive realtime countdown command 11. If connection to NTP server is lost the clocks will continue to run on the built-in time base. When the connection is restored it will synchronize automatically. 12. The clock features time loss notification by having a light on on the right lower corner
Optional Features:

(1) The clock can be single sided ( has one display) or double sided ( has two displays), if you need double sided clocks, please specify.
(2) Alarm function. We can add a bell relay into the clock, then you can connect the clock to bell and program the bell.
(3) Temperature/ humidity display is optional. We can add a sensor to the clock, then it can display time, teperature, and or humidity alternately.

What is NTP
Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a networking protocol for clock synchronization between computer systems over packet-switched, variable-latency data networks. In operation since before 1985, NTP is one of the oldest Internet protocols in current use. NTP is intended to synchronize all participating computers to within a few milliseconds of Coordinated Universal Time(UTC).[1]:3
It uses the intersection algorithm, a modified version of Marzullo's algorithm, to select accurate time servers and is designed to mitigate the effects of variable network latency. NTP can usually maintain time to within tens of milliseconds over the public Internet, and can achieve better than one millisecond accuracy in local area networks under ideal conditions. Asymmetric routes and network congestion can cause errors of 100 ms or more.

The Power over Ethernet (PoE) Advantages
Power over Ethernet or PoE describes any several standard or ad-hoc systems which pass electric power along with data on twisted pair Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electric power to devices such as NTP clocks, wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones.
There are several common techniques for transmitting power over Ethernet cabling. Two of them have been standardized by IEEE 802.3 since 2003.

FAQ
Question: Hi from Sweden, I am interest to buy this item, but I don’t know if you can send it to Sweden. Answer: Yes, we can send it to Sweden, we have CE, FCC, RoHS, ISO9001. Currently we have sold our NTP clocks and NTP servers to 68 countries or regions over the five continents in the world.   Question: When there is interruption of power supply, will the clock work? Answer: The clock doesn’t have a built-in battery, when there is interruption of power supply, it won’t work. But as soon as the clock is connected to power and network, it will display the correct time automatically, no need of manual adjusting.
Question: When there is interruption of network, is there any indication? And will the clock still display correct time? Answer:
Normally the clock synchronizes with NTP server every 5 minutes. When there is interruption of network, a small dot will appear on the lower right corner of the LED display and the clock won’t synchronize, so it will be inaccurate slowly, the deviation is about 1 minute per day! When it is connected to network again, it will display correct time and automatically and the dot will disappear.   Question: Hello! Does this clock display 24h? Or is it 12h am/pm only? Answer: It can be set to either 12or 24 hour display. You can set on the management software. When it is set 12 hour display, a dot will appear on the left upper corner of the LED display to mean am.   Question: Hello! Does this clock support IPv6? Answer: No, the current version only supports IPv4.   Question: Can we set up the time without a NTP server? Answer: It does require some NTP server, such as our NTP server (model: GTT100, GTT200, GTT400) or internet based source( internet public NTP server). With that available, it will keep itself accurate and on the money.
