The HIV I& HIV II Ab test is designed for the purpose of qualitatively detecting and differentiate Human Immunodeficiency virus antibody type I and type II in human whole blood .

INTERPRETATIONS

1.POSITIVE: * Two or three distinct red lines appear. One line should be in the control region (C) and another one or two apparent colored line should be in the test region (T1 and/or T2). 

*NOTE:  The intensity of the red color in the test line region (T1 and T2) will vary depending on the concentration of HIV antibodies present in the specimen. Therefore, any shade of red in the test region(T1 and T2) should be considered positive.

2.NEGATIVE: One red line appears in the control region (C). No apparent red or pink line appears in the test region (T1 and T2).

3.INVALID: Control line fails to appear. Insufficient specimen volume or incorrect procedural techniques are the most likely reasons for control line failure. Review the procedure
