        Deep groove ball bearings are among the most sold bearing types due to their versatility and value for money. They can support radial as well as axial forces. Due to the low frictional torque they are suitable for high speeds.

        Deep groove ball bearings consist of outer ring , inner ring ,cage and ball .

        Prefix Meaning :

           Non-Prefix : GCr 15 inner and outer ring as well as ball , stamped steel cage .

          SS (S): 304, 440 stainless steel , inner and outer ring, balls as well as the cage are made of stainless steel , for good corrosion resistance . 

           CE : all-ceramic , inner and outer ring as well as the balls are made of ceramic (Si3N4)  . suitable for particularly extreme high speeds, extreme wear resistance, extreme longevity , very light, current-insulating .

          C :  hybrid ceramic ,  inner and outer ring are made of steel and the balls of ceramic (Si3N4) suitable for particularly high speeds, high wear resistance, light, current-insulating .

          F :  flange at outer ring , allows for axial fixing, e.g. in mounting holes or housings .

        Suffixes Meanings:

          OPEN   : no seals on both sides , no frictional resistance , easy relubrication .

          RS,2RS : rubber seal on one side or both sides , for high sealing effect against dirt and moisture .

          ZZ,2Z   : contactless metal sealing shields on one side or both side , good sealing action against leakage of grease ,long maintenance-free period (lifetime lubrication) .
