1.What is camera PoE.
POE (Power Over Ethernet) refers to the technology that provides DC power to surveillance cameras while transmitting data signals for this equipment without any changes to the existing Ethernet Cat.5 cabling infrastructure. POE technology ensures the normal operation of existing networks while ensuring the safety of existing structured cabling and minimizing costs. The IEEE 802.3af standard is a new standard for POE based Power over Ethernet systems.
2.What is camera ePoE.
Dahua ePoE technology achieves long distance transmission of power, video, audio, and control signals over 800 meters at 10Mbps, or 300 meters at 100Mbps via Cat5 or coaxial cable through the use of advanced 2D-PAM3 coding modulation. Dahua ePoE technology offers a new way to accomplish long distance transmission between IP cameras and network switches. It enables more flexible surveillance system designs, improves reliability, and saves on construction and wiring costs.
