First of all, install the meters onto the according pipeline that extends into users’ residence.
After the meters are installed, the installation of the concentrator follows.
Installation Procedures – Data Concentrator
(1) Deciding on the meters that need to be groupped under a certain concentrator according to the maximum loading capacity and the communication distance of the concentrator.
(2) Choose the installation position of the concentrator, the choosing of the position should be the hub of the surrounding meters, ensuring the GPRS signal is good, with the access of the AC220V supply.
After the concentrator is installed, proceeding with the entering of the files, joint debugging of the concentrator and thedata center.
--With anti-magnetic interference function that when the two reed switches pick up caused by the magnetic interference, the valve closes off automatically; It automatically opens when the interference stops.
--With the battery voltage detection function, it can pass the power-off information to the management platform when the batetry almost runs out, facilitating the administrator to find that;
--Module with automatic data storage function when power down arises, assuring the data won’t lost when power down, and when the power supply recovers, it is able to continue to work properly.

1)How do I select the size of the water meter?
Range of operation (flow rate) is specified for each water meter. Water meters should be selected based on the flow rate range expected at the location of installation. It is not depended on the adjoining pipe size.
2)What is the measurement accuracy of a water meter?
The required accuracy of a good water meter is ±2% in general and ±5% at very low flow rate range. The exact flow range for a particular water meter depends on the size and class.
3)Can I replace my old water meter with a new one of the same size from a different manufacturer?
It is possible, in general. However it is better to check the length due to alternate lengths of the meter permitted in different standards.
