SW4 Definition：
SW4 allows the user to configure the drive's automatic semi-stream function. OFF means that the static current is set as half of the dynamic current, ON means that the static current is the same as the dynamic current. For general use, SW4 should be set to OFF to reduce motor and driver heat and improve reliability. About 0.4 seconds after the pulse train stops, the current automatically reduces to about half (60% of the actual value), and the calorific value is theoretically reduced to 36%.
5.Control signal：
Pul + and PUL- are the positive and negative ends of the control pulse signal. Dir + and Dir - are the positive and negative ends of the direction signal; ENA+ and ENA- are the positive and negative ends of the enabling signal. 5 v and 24 v. No resistance needed
★ Step pulse signal(PUL)
PUL stepper pulse signal is used to control the position and speed of the stepper motor, that is to say: drive each receive a pulse is driving a stepper motor rotate a step away from the Angle of (subdivided into a subdivision step Angle), the frequency of the pulse change, change the speed of the step motor at the same time, control the number of pulses, you can make the stepping motor accurate positioning, so that you can easily achieve the goal of stepper motor speed regulation and positioning. This driver requires the drive current of the control signal to be 10-20mA, and the pulse width is also required, generally not less than 2μs (see the figure below).
★ Direction signal(DIR)
Direction level signal DIR is used to control the rotation direction of the stepping motor. When there is a voltage at this end, the motor will turn. When there is no voltage at this end, the motor is turned to another direction. The motor reversing must be done after the motor has stopped, and the reversing signal must be sent after the last CP pulse in the previous direction and before the first CP pulse in the next direction (see figure below).
★ Offline level signal ENA
When the driver is energized, the stepper motor is in a locked state (when no pulse is applied) or running state (when pulse is applied), but the user wants to adjust the motor manually but does not want to turn off the drive power, what should he do? This signal can be used at this time. When the ENA terminal has a voltage, the motor is in a free torque-free state. When the ENA terminal has no voltage or is suspended without connection, the motor is in the locked state. This signal can be selected by the user. If this function is not required, this end can be disconnected.
6．Indicator light description：
The drive has two indicators: a power indicator (green) and an alarm indicator (red).
1.After the driver is energized, the power indicator is long on; If the indicator light is not on or flashing, please check whether the power supply meets the requirements.
2.If the drive takes protective action, the alarm indicator light will be long on. After the fault is eliminated, the indicator light will be closed.
(The driver is equipped with under-voltage, over-current, temperature alarm circuit).
