The Detector is mainly used to detect the presence of pinholes, blisters and other defects in thick non-conductive coating on metal substrates. The electric spark leak detector is very simple to use, one is grounded and the other is a probe. 

(There are many types of probes in the form of carbon brushes, circle springs, and flat rubber.) The electric spark leak detector sends DC high voltage through the high voltage probe. When the probe passes the defective coating surface, the EDM leak detector will automatically sound and light alarm.
