INSTUCTIONS
(The Flower Paste Recipe is recommended)
THE BAG
1.Roll out paste thinly on a lightly greased work-top surface.Paste should resemble the thickness of material.A patterned roller will add an extra dimension to the finished bag.
2.Pleat the curved shape of the side of the bag evenly.
3.Place the sides on the formers provided and leave to dry completely.Ensure that the sides appear even and matching.
THE HANDLE
4.Place Clutch Handle Cutter into a Roller Pad.Roll out paste slightly thicker than the "material".
5.Use a pin to remove'cut-outs'.
6.Cut two sides of the handle.
7.When the'material' part of the handbag is almost dry,place gum glue on the base of the inside one half of the bag.Also lightly apply glue to the sides of the bag.
8.Place the second side of the bag into this.Ensure that this forms a stable base on which the bag will stand.
9.Carefully and neatly join the sides of the bag together.
10.Place the handle on the bag using gum glue to secure.Neaten the sides.The length of the sides may be adjusted to create a different look.
11.Ensure that the second handle is 'centered' correctly and secure with a little gum glue.
12.Leave the bag to dry completely.
13.Lustre the bag in a suitable colour of your choice.
SUGGESTED FLOWER PASTE RECIPE
METHOD:
Lightly beat the egg white.Add sifted icing sugar slowly until soft peak consistency is reached.Add the Petal Powder.The mixture will immediately thicken.Gradually add more icing sugar until a pliable texture is achieved.Rub a little Petal Base or white vegetable fat onto your hands and work paste thoroughly.Paste should not be sticky nor should it be too hard.Store in a sealed plastic bag in a sealed plastic container.Paste is ready to use immediately.
