1.Brief introduction of DC electric ar furnace

DC electric arc furnace is a smelting method in which three-phase alternating current is converted into direct current through a rectifier and sent between the bottom electrode and the upper electrode of the furnace body, and an electric arc is generated to heat the charge. This equipment has the advantages of good air tightness of the furnace body, high power factor, stable arc, uniform temperature in the furnace, and low noise.

2. Product Structure

1) The furnace body is composed of furnace door, furnace bottom, furnace body, furnace cover, bottom electrode, furnace lining, cover opening mechanism, etc.
2) DC power supply The IGBT electric arc furnace DC power supply is a power supply specially used for electric arc furnaces, which has obvious advantages compared with the original SCR power supply.
3) control system The main purpose of the control system is to collect the current and voltage signals at both ends of the electrode, and to drive the electrode up and down through PLC operation, so that the electric furnace can work within the set parameter range. The setting of all operating parameters of the electric furnace is carried out on the interface of the intelligent instrument. The system has manual and automatic operation modes, and the automatic state can realize the automatic operation of arc ignition and constant current with one key. The pouring of the furnace and the opening of the lid are all performed on the console.
4) electrode lifting system The electrode lifting mechanism is directly installed on the furnace cover and consists of a servo motor, a screw rod, a guide rail, a water-cooled electrode holder and an electrode sealing device. The electrode has the advantages of reliable sealing and easy replacement of carbon rods.
5) The busbar is composed of copper bars and water-cooled cables, which are used to connect the DC power supply and the upper and lower electrodes of the furnace body.
