I General description

• The XHHV series HV impulse generator mainly used for surge discharging of cable faults testing of 35 KV and lower voltage cable and also used for DC voltage withstand testing of others electrical device. 
• The unit integrated of DC high voltage source, a storage capacitor and the discharge ball gap. the unit completely replace the traditional HV testing transformer, HV control part and impulse energy storage capacitor (a 5KVA transformer more than 60 kg, a HV control part  more than 30 kg, and  a pulse storage power capacitor more than 20 kg). 
• The power supply adopts high precision and stability best qualified HV electronic components and high frequency high voltage technology, make the machine has the advantages of simple structure, ultra-light with humanized design of operation, safety and reliable.

II Main Features

• With the functions of over-current, overvoltage, overheating protection function;
• High voltage pulse output is even and controllable, can be used as DC Hipot testing when cooperated with a microammeter.
• With super short circuit protection function and enable the HV output to work when directly shorted to grounded
• With current and voltage 1.5 pointer display and the surge discharge process is intuitive and clear.
• High voltage side measurement is real-time and accurate.
• With zero start protection function, and potentiometer return to Zero output function, safe and reliable;
• This unique design of high voltage measurement, at stop state, the voltage meter can real-time indicated the capacitor voltage.
• Discharge time can be any set in the appropriate interval.
• With the battery, also can be used as the internal power supply
• With 4 wheels at the bottom and easy to move.
