Selection instruction:

Introduction of availbale lockable gas spring types:

Rigid locking gas spring for vertical installation

              extension direction lock                     compression direction lock

It must be installed in a vertical position, is cheaper and more efficient than compression/ stretch rigid locking gas spring.

This type of gas spring does not require an piston as a separation element for gas and oil. Therefore, in order to lock in the compression direction, the gas spring must be installed with the piston rod upwards. In rare cases where the installation in the extension direction is required, the piston rod is down.

Stretch rigid lockable gas spring:

A special piston separates nitrogen and oil.  The stretch direction is filled with oil throughout the stroke, making it difficult to stretch. Low pressure.

Can be installed in any orientation, with variable locking during lifting, lowering, opening and closing.

Applications:

Adjust the head and feet of Hospital beds, operating tables,  wheelchair, etc.

Adjust the height of the walker,

Adjust the inclination of the table top,

Adjust the height of the lifting table,

Compression rigid lockable gas spring:

The design of the separation mechanism of the nitrogen and oil chambers can make the gas spring be rigidly locked in any position and direction.

Not compressible, but can be pulled slightly beyond a certain strength.

Applications:

Medical devices: Hospital beds, operating tables,  wheelchair, etc.
