Customized Grain Size Chamotte Bauxite Flint  Clay Powder

Flint clay is a kind of high quality hard refractory clay product in Zibo city, Shandong Province of China. What we call the flint clay generally refers to calcined flint clay. The standard raw materials contains 38% Alumina at least. After calcination, the content of Alumina is about 44% and Ferrum is less than 2%. It has stable composition, uniform texture, compact structure, shell shaped and white cross section, and is used to produce high-quality clay refractory. The main chemical composition is Alumina and Silica, accompanied by a small amount of Ferrum and other impurities. The main mineral is kaolin.

Flint clay is a mixture of alumina and silicate. The main chemical components are Al2O3 and SiO2 oxides, and the impurities are mainly alkaline earth, ferrum, titanium oxides, and some organic compounds. All kinds of oxides play the role of help melting, which will reduce the refractoriness of raw materials. Therefore, the lower the impurity content, especially the sodium and kalium content, the higher the refractoriness. The closer the ratio of Alumina is to the theoretical value , the higher the purity of pyrogem is.  The refractoriness of high-quality flint clay can reach 1750 ℃.
