Printed glass products, unfortunately, are not as durable as printed porcelain, when washing in the dishwasher, prints can fade and scratching can be seen, so it is absolutely necessary to wash the glass products by hand. The prints on glass and porcelain do not come out when scraped with any metal or hard object.

The prints that are made with sublimation printing technique using compact digital printers are widely seen on the market. These prints comes of when scraped with a hard object or washed in a dishwasher for one time, and our company does not use this printing method in any of its products.

To explain in detail why it should be washed by hand;
After printing, porcelain products are heat treated at 800 ° C and glass products at 600 ° C. This ensures that the paints adhere firmly to the surface. At this temperature, the glaze in the porcelain (transparent surface) and the glass do not melt, so the print applied remains on the product surface. Salts and detergents used in dishwashers matt not only the non-printing part of the products, but also the surface of the printing. Over time, the surface of the product and printing will be deteriorated (coming of in gold and platinum gilt prints, color fading, scratches, etc.). The chemicals in the formula of strong water spray, steam, salt and some detergents in the dishwasher can cause wear and scratches on the prints. To prevent this wear, gel or liquid detergents should be used and, if possible, wash at 40 ° C and a short program.

All glass and porcelain products on which real gold and platinum gilding are used should be washed by hand. Because gold and platinum gilding has a thinner layer and is more sensitive compared to other paints. Make sure that the products do not come into contact with each other during washing. As some dishwashing detergents contain chemicals that damage printing, please check whether the dishwashing detergents damage the painted porcelain or glassware in the instructions for use. You can easily wash the printed products with all handwashing detergents.
