Dried flowers and buds of Sophora japonica (Huai mi) are the main commercial source of two flavonoids, rutin and quercetin. It is traditionally used in China, Japan and Korea to stop bleeding. Quercetin, a bioflavonoid, is a powerful antioxidant that helps support your immune system. It is extracted from the dried buds of Sophorae Japonica.
