Instructions of silver brazing solder?

Silver based solder is a kind of solder with silver or silver based solid solution. It has excellent process performance, low melting point, good wettability and the ability to fill the gap, and high strength. Good plasticity, good conductivity and corrosion resistance. It can be used to braze all ferrous and non-ferrous metals, such as stainless steel, hard alloy, diamond and other materials. Widely used in refrigeration, lighting, hardware and electrical appliances, instrumentation, chemical industry, aerospace and other industrial manufacturing fields.

In order to reduce the melting point and silver content, Cu, Zn, CD, Sn, Ni are added to form ternary or multi-element alloy solder. Silver solder is suitable for all kinds of brazing methods, but in addition to brazing in vacuum or protective atmosphere, it is generally required to use together with silver solder in order to obtain excellent brazing joints.

Silver based solder can be divided into cadmium free solder and cadmium containing solder according to its composition. The brazing filler metal containing cadmium is toxic to some extent, so it is not suitable for brazing the joint directly contacting with food and drinking water. The brazing working point shall be ventilated.

Before brazing, grease, oxide, etc. on the brazed part and the surface of the filler metal must be removed strictly. The best clearance of the brazed joint is 0.03mm~0.075mm.

1. Welding wire series: Φ 0.3 ~ 3.0mm coil wire.

2. Electrode series: Φ 0.3 ~ 3.0mm electrode, 1.3 × 3.15 flat electrode.

3. Strip series: 0.1-0.25mm thick strip or flat wire, 0.1-0.3mm thick micro crystalline strip.

4. Welding ring series: all kinds of welding rings with wire diameter of Φ 0.8 ~ 2.5mm and inner diameter of more than Φ 3.5mm.

5. silver brazing powder: 100 mesh, 150 mesh, 200 mesh, 325 mesh.
