Fused Silica is formed by chemical combination of silicon and oxygen. Fused Silica is perfect optical material due to its good UV and IR transmission, low coefficient of thermal expansion. It has high stability and resistance to thermal shock over large temperature excursions, wide temperature operating range and high laser damage threshold.

1. Application in metallurgical industry
Fused silica’s linear expansion coefficient is low, its products have high thermal stability, and it has been widely used in black and non-ferrous metals metallurgy.
2.Applications in electrical industry
Fused silica ceramics has the characteristics of dielectric strength, refractory heat at the same time, thus can be applied to the electric heat insulator and light reflector.
3. Application in float glass industry
In float glass production, Quartz ceramic has been widely used, as a flow control gate, cover plate, brick support brick, seam pressure, etc.
4. Application in glass processing
Horizontal tempering furnace at home and abroad is now widely used in roller type hanging glass to replace the old vertical glass furnace toughened system, so as to produce the high quality toughened glass. Horizontal tempering furnace heat can be one of the key factors of success because it USES the fused quartz ceramic roller.
