Thermal pigment is a thermochromic or "heat sensitive" pigment that looses its's color at specific temperature and warmer.  You can use thermal pigment to paint over designs and patterns, once the pigment heats it will reveal what is underneath.

3.Discolor temperature:This product is a hot achromatic type,reversibility temperature sensitive pigment,Colored state at low temperatures,when the temperature is rises to the set value,the pigment from the colored to the colorless:13-26 degree,7-31 degree,33-38 degree,43-45 degree,50-58 degree,63-75 degree.
4.Because of this series of thermochromic pigment is corlorless in the leuco state,It can be used with ordinary paint mixed colors,for example heat achromatic magenta (RX-MR) and ordinary skyblue color effect spell purple-light blue color can be obtainted,but with ordinary yellow mixed colors available red- yellow color effect.In addition,color pigments can also be used in conjuntion with different temperatures,in order to get richer color combinations.

Usage:
Scope:This product can be use in polyethylene(PE),polypropylene(PP),polystyrene(PS),sort polyvinyl chloride(S-PVC),AS and ABS and other transparent or translucent plastic injection molding ,extrusion forming. it can also be mixed with unsaturated polyester,exoxy,acrylic or nylon single body casting,molding,curing forming.
Dosage:For injection molding,extrusion molding process and casting,coining,curing.Temperature sensitive powder/thermochromic powder dosage for the amount of plastic is 0.4-2 %,usually 0.6-1.5%,discolor pigment and plastic particles should be mixed evenly.
Temperature:The processing temperature should be controlled below 180 degree,the max should not exceed 220 degree,and min materail heating time.(high temperature,prolonged heating will damage the color properties of the pigment.)

Notes:
1.when using the temperature sensitive powder plastics should not contain other fillers or ordinary paint(EG:titannium dioxide,calcium carbonate,carbon black,flame retardants),otherwise it wil cover the color the color effect.If it is with color pigment mixed colors,the ordinary pigment in an amount of about 0.5-2.5% color pigment.
2.Discoloration products should avoid strong sunlight and UV irradiration lights.
3.PVC resin in the formulattion should avoid using phosphorus-containing stabilizer and plasticizer,otherwise it would have a serious color injection products remaining at the achromatic color status.
