Structure of Clinker Vertical Cooler in Cement Production Plant
Vertical cooler is mainly composed of cylinder, support device, transmission device, etc.
1, the cylinder
Cylinder is rolled and welded from several segments of high-quality carbon steel plates. Except one meter of both ends inside the cylinder, it is equipped with angle lifting type plates. There are material block ring and spiral blade at the high end to prevent back feed.
2, support device
Support device supports the full weight of the rotating cylinder, and makes the cylinder light on it safely and operate smoothly. The support device is mainly composed of support roller, thrust roller, the base and other parts. Thrust roller is to control the axial traverse of the cylinder.
3, the transmission device
Cooler transmission speed is relatively large, and transmission torque uses electromagnetic speed motor. Transmission device includes a motor, reducer, large gears, pinions, etc.
Working Principle of Clinker Vertical Cooler in Cement Production Plant
After calcined by rotary kiln, materials flow into the vertical cooler lined with refractory. The cooler has a square cross-section, in which the evenly distributed central cooling air hood and compartment cooling air hood. The cooling hood has duct connected with the external fan. In the bottom of the cooler, there is discharge opening, and there is a motor vibration discharger under every discharge opening. Materials accumulate and cover on the air hood, and form material layer with a certain thickness, the cooling air from the external fan blows through the air chamber into the air hood, contact with hot materials to complete heat exchange. Materials cooled by the air are gradually discharged from the cooler by motor vibration discharger. Air heated by the materials goes directly into the rotary kiln by kiln hood as a secondary air for calcination.
