Product Description:

The TPA3255 is a high performance Class D power amplifier that offers class

D efficiency and delivers true high end sound quality. The device features advanced

integrated feedback design and proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction

(PurePathUltra HD). The technology allows the device to maintain ultra-low

distortion throughout the audio frequency band, while showing the perfect sound

quality. The device operates in AD mode and can drive up to two 315W / 4R loads

and two 150W (un-clipping) / 8R loads at 10% THD and features a 2 VRMS analog

input interface to support high performance DACs (Such as TI's PCM5242) seamlessly

connected. In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 combines two

advantages of high power efficiency and low power consumption (less than 2.5W).

This can be achieved with 85mR MOSFETs and an optimized gate driver solution.

Compared with the traditional discrete implementation scheme, this solution

can significantly reduce the idle loss.
