Application:
Good balance between roughness and hardness.
0.8mm diameter support can be successfully printed.
Fast curing speed with low energy
Best recommend for entry level
suitable for thin-wall model printing
Exposure time setting:
mono LCD screen
Normal 2-3s / 0.05mm layer, bottom layer: 40-60s
RGB LCD screen
Normal 6-10s / 0.05mm layer, bottom layer:60-100s
Tips: if the print part dimension size is not correct, or details is not sharp as expectation, the exposure time per layer should be reduced as appropriate; if the print part is broken irregularly, the exposure time of single layer should be increased accordingly.
The higher the precision of the resin, the more difficult the first layer stick to the building plate. In case of weak adhesion to the building plate, it is necessary to increase the exposure time of the first layer and reset to make sure that the gap between the building plate and the LCD screen is minimized.
More suggestion:
If toughness is required, recommend to try LCD-1200R (150 C /30 mins posted treatment needed) or LCD-5204N(36W UV lamp posted curing for 60 mins)
The mystery of never settling:
By constructing anti-settlement technology, the high-density pigment can be dispensed stably for all year round without settlement issue. The resin without anti-settlement treatment can only maintain pigment suspension for less than 24 hours, will go into the bottom of VAT, seriously affecting the success rate of printing.
Why post-processing is so important?
UV post-treatment can make the resin react more completely, with higher strength and hardness, but it can also make the resin brittle.
Mercury lamp (36W or above) is recommended for UV post-treatment. But the part surface is still tacky after LED lamp irradiation.
Some of the resin (LCD-1200R) can be cured after heating, while for the most of the resin, heating is ineffective.
The resin minimizes the soaking time in alcohol or water, which can effectively reduce the risk of resin softening and strength loss.
Under the condition of high humidity, the resin will become soft if it is not cured after sufficient moisture absorption. It needs to be heated and dehumidified before curing, so as to reflect all properties of the resin.
After cleaning, the resin surface whitening is usually due to the cleaning solvent water content is too high, need to replace a higher concentration of cleaning solvent, it is recommended to choose more than 95% of the concentration of alcohol or IPA.
After cleaning, the resin surface is still sticky, which is usually caused by insufficient curing. It is suggested that after the initial cleaning with alcohol, the print part should be placed in clear water and exposed to UV light for no more than 2 minutes, which can effectively avoid the problem of part sticky. Too long soaking in water will lead to the side effect of softening the resin.
How to smooth the part surface?
Instability of support results in wobble during model printing - boldface support or adding support density is required to maintain model stability
The vacuum cavity appears because the hollow model does not open the air hole correctly. - The air hole must be added in the hollow model to ensure that the airtight chamber does not appear in the printing process.
Increased releasing force due to overexposure causes part wobble - reduces exposure time is necessary.
Incomplete releasing of the printing process due to the deformation and looseness of the release film - raising the lifting distance ensures the success of the film removal
