Tin Flotation Gravity Separation Line
Description
Tin ore processing
Because the density of tin ore is larger than that of symbiotic minerals, the gravity separation is generally used in the processing of tin ore. However, due to the existence of various iron oxide minerals, such as magnetite, hematite, and so on, these minerals can not be separated from tin ore very well by gravity separation, so, magnetic separation or flotation operations will be used.
Process Description:
Crushing & Screening
The raw ore was crushed to 20mm, and then sifted into two size range of 20 ~ 4 and 4 ~ 0mm.
Pre-separation
The 20 ~ 4mm ore is pre-separated by a heavy medium hydrocyclone, then is pre-separated by jig after rod mill grinding, Jig tailings were screened by 2mm vibrating screen, +2mm as waste tailings, -2mm into the shaking table for separation.
Flotation
After the jig and shaking table concentrates were grinded respectively, the mixed flotation was conducted, and the mixed flotation tailings were used for shaking table separation to produce qualified tin concentrates. The mixed flotation concentrates were fine grinded for flotation separation of lead and zinc, and the lead antimony concentrate and zinc concentrate were produced respectively.
Gravity Separation
The slurry enters Φ 300 mm hydrocyclone, its overflow then through Φ 125 mm and Φ75 mm hydrocyclone group to remove the fine silt, the sediment after concentration and desulfurization for tin flotation.
