Steam Heating Scalder
Scalding plays an important role in the whole processing, the good scalding raise the defeathering rate, save labors` working,
reducing damage rate and increase the profit. Working with CONNECT scalder, the feathers is easy operation, simple structure, low
power, maintenance rate very low. The whole equipment is closed system which reducing the heat lose.
The equipment including tank body, heating supply system, over head conveyor, automatic temperature control, automatic water
supply, and closed cover. The air blowing system including blower, air pipes.
Connect high quality air-agitated scalder machine guarantee you get an optimum de-feathering result of poultry with its' water
agitation and temperature automatic control. Processing times are especially critical in the slaughtering department. For optimum
feather removal, the right balance between temperature and scalding time should be applied.
There are three type of scalding time: High temperature scalding71~82℃,30~60s. High temperature boiling is good for remove feather
which to reduce the microbial on body, the color of carcass is yellow which is attractive for retail.
By this way, since the surance is injury by high temperature, the storage period is shorter than low temperature processing.
Another shortage, high temperature make the chest muscle fiber becomes old, also easily lead to subcutaneous fat and moisture
loss, so normally not processing by this method.
Media temperature Scalding.
Terms: 58.9 ~ 65°C, 30 ~ 75S
Feather: It is easily to remove the feather, surface slightly sticky, wet, uniform in color, bright, suitable for freezing,coating
,wrapping of frying. Due to the fall off of cutin which lose the protection layer, the microbial easily grows during storage
period.
Low temperature Scalding
Terms: 50 ~ 54°C , 90~ 120S
Feather: the surface of carcass complete,suitable for all kinds of packing and freezing. It is suitable for broiler. The feather
on neck and wings not easy to remove completely for hens ,mothers or fathers. For these big size and long time raised poultry, the
media or high temperature is preferred.

1. how many types of chickens can it be processed?
A: It can process broiler ,layers, quails,goose,ducks and pigeon.
2.what is the capacity of this line?
A: We supply slaughter lines from 300bph to 1200bph, and if about 100-200bph, we suggest client to take manual slaugter system(electric scalder, drum plucker), and 300-500bph, you can take our compact slaughter line.
3.can it be process different weight of birds?
A: of course , but all the birds must be in the range of shackles, if the birds weight is too much different , they will drop from shackles, and the shackle distance is different from different birds.
4.Can you design and install the project for us?
A:We have good design and installation department for help you on this project.
5.What is the differences from Manual EV line to Automatic EV line?
A: as you know ,manual EV line is working by labors, and it can work with different weight of birds, but automatic line will only process almost same birds.
6.What is the differences from screw chiller to air chiller?
A: screw chiller is working with cooling water, so if you want the effect is good, you need arrange water chiller and ice flaker for cooling the normal water into cold water, its okay for the country that water is enough. Air chiller is like a cold room, which uses compressor unit and conveying line to make birds moving in the room, then the cold air meet with carcasses.
