The series of dry iron core series reactors are used in low-voltage reactive power compensation cabinets, and are connected in series with capacitors. When there are a large number of harmonic sources such as rectification and converter devices in the low-voltage power grid, the high-order harmonics generated by them will seriously harm the main Change and safe operation of other electrical equipment. Main Applications
During compensating reactive power, the capacitors will be influenced by harmonic waves, closing surge, operating over-voltage and etc, and may lead capacitors being damaged or power factor decreasing, consequently series-connected reactors shall be used to connect in front of capacitors, to restrict harmonics, protect capacitors, prevent the influences of harmonic voltage, current or surging voltage/current, improve power factor, extend service life of capacitors.
