Lamp type:
Clear The standard IR lamp; a bare, uncoated lamp, that optimises infrared output. Also emits warm white light.
Gold A dichroic coating reduces glare and has a gold appearance when switched off.
Jacketed A quartz sleeve is applied to the lamp for additional safety. They are ideal for catering purposes.
Neutral Density A neutral density sleeve is applied to the lamp, reducing glare. These lamps look orange when lit and are often used in churches.
Reflector These lamps have a white ceramic coating allowing the majority of the heat to be projected forward.
Ruby A ruby jacket is applied to the lamp which cuts down glare. They are ideal for comfort heating, such as outdoor terraces and eating areas.
Satin These lamps have a frosted finish, reducing glare.
Vertical These must be used when lamps need to be lit in a vertical position e.g. paint drying.
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) These are used as part of the PET plastic container manufacturing process e.g. plastic bottles.
