1.Q: What is the Difference of the Kits ?
A: They come with different accessories including antennas and cable. Kit A is the most popular option. Kit B comes with higher gain antennas. Kit C is for two rooms, including 2 indoor antennas and extra cable and splitter needed. Kit D is the cheapest solution.
2.Q:What is the Difference of the Outdoor Antennas in the Kits ?
A: Log periodic antenna 10 /11 dBi in Kit B and C is longer in size and higher in gain than the one in Kit A, which is 8/9dBi. Yagi antenna 6/8dBi with 10m cable(LMR200) in Kit D is the cheapest solution.
3.Q: What is the Difference of the Indoor Antennas in the Kits ?
A: Ceiling antenna, as the most popular indoor option, is omni directional,3/5dBi and mounted on the ceiling. Panel antenna is directional antenna, 6/8dBi, mounted on the wall, especially good for long area suchascorridor. Whip antenna is omni, directly connected to the booster without cable. It is convenient and economic.
4.Q:How is the Signal Strength related to the Coverage ?
A: The Signal Strength is measured in dBm and bars. The details are a following.
-105dBm to -95dBm 1bar Poor coverage, low rate of successful calls, easy dropping
-95dBm to -85dBm 2bars Ordinary coverage, support a variety of services, with slowly data services.
-85dBm to -75dBm 3bar Acceptable coverage, support a variety of services, with medium rate data services.
-75dBm to -65dBm 4bars Good coverage, support a variety of ser vices, with high speed data services.
>-65dBm 5bars Perfect coverage.
