SBS thermoplastic elastomer, abbreviated as SBS, is a styrene-butadiene block copolymer that produced by SBS production line of
styrene-butadiene unit. SBS has excellent properties of both rubber and plastics. It has good tensile properties, low temperature
resistance, electrical insulation and perfect processing performance.
★ Applications
The main application fields of SBS are
rubber products, asphalt modification, polymer modification and adhesives. SBS rubber products mainly fall into two types, moldedproducts and extruded products. Molded products are mainly used in shoemaking industry (sole or foam sole). Extruded products are
mainly used to produce tapes and hoses.
SBS modified asphalt is mainly used in fields as
pavement asphalt modification and waterproof coil making.

runway. The addition of proper amount of SBS in asphalt increases the softening point, low temperature brittleness, strength,
elasticity and impact resistance of asphalt.

Waterproofing membrane
The waterproofing membrane that uses asphalt modified by SBS has good low temperature
flexibility, could be long-term used at -25℃ with no cracks, it has high heat resistance that prevents flow at 90 ℃. It can be
used in the temperature range from -25℃ to 100℃. It has high elasticity, fatigue resistance, elongation, puncture resistance and
tear resistance.

SBS products are packed in three-in-one
paper-plastic bags or other packaging forms. Packaging materials shouldn’t be polluted or leak during transportation, yarding and
storage. During transporting, SBS products should be avoided from high temperature and direct sunlight or rainwater immersion.

ventilated and clean warehouses at room temperature, stacked in rows and kept with certain distance. Products should be prevent
from direct sunlight exposure and should not be stacked in the open air. The guarantee period of SBS product quality is one year
from the date of production.
