Nickel chromium alloy,which is made of adding 20% chromium into nickel.Nickel chromium alloy won’t be oxidized under high temperature,is is a typical coating material for heat resistance,corrosion resistance and high temperature oxidation resistance.The coating is compact and has good bonding properties with the base metal.It is an excellent transition layer material for coating and substrate of ceramic and soft metal materials.It can not only increase the ability of the substrate to resist high temperature gas eroslon,but also improve the bond strength between the coating and the base material.
The application of Nickel chromium alloy powder
Nickel chromium alloy powder is suitable for oxygen acetylene flame or plasma spray welding process.It is commonly used for prophylactic protection and repair of corrosion and wear resistance,especially for sliding wear parts,such as drawing roller,cam,plunger roller of rolling mill,etc.
-Commonly used in cutting tools; corrosion-resistant alloy layers formed on the surface of steel or iron by spray plating, deposition, and high temperature diffusion; potassium dichromate and sodium dichromate are strong oxidants in organic synthesis and petroleum industry; chromium yellow, Chrome orange, chrome green, etc. can be used as inorganic pigments.
The coloring material used by the traffic police to detect alcohol is dichromate. Alcohol can react with it to make it color.
Nickel-chromium alloys can also be used to make laboratory resistors.
High-resistance electrothermal alloys (high nickel and iron chromium aluminum), high-temperature alloys, precision alloys, heat-resistant alloys, special alloys, stainless steel, etc. are common and commonly used nickel-chromium alloys.
When the length and cross-sectional area are constant, the lower the temperature, the greater the resistance of the nickel-chromium alloy, which is contrary to the general rule.
