Top entry agitator is one of the most common forms of the mixing device, the stirring device is installed in the center line of cylinder or tank equipment, The type of drive usually adopts gear transmission or belt transmission. connected by a common motor or connected by reducer directly. The type of Impeller selected according to the purpose. Shaft seal mainly use packing seal, but for vacuum or higher pressure should use mechanical seals.

Top entry agitators drive by the belt transmission or gear transmission, connected with the motor or speed reducer directly, Impeller selected according to use; Generally using packing seal, but in a vacuum and under high pressure, should adopt mechanical seals. Side entry agitator is a new type of mixer device,  we can replace or repair seal or gear box without emptying the fluid in the tank. Equipped with a spiral type impeller , can get the highest mixing effect. in the case of equal power consumption.

Bottom entry agitators generally used for large scale equipment, such as polymerization tank, PVC reactor, saccharifying tank, gelatinization reactor etc. The stirring device is installed at the bottom of cylinder or tank equipment , the mixer shaft is shortened and there is no coupling between mixer shaft and transmission shafts, which improve the stability of shaft. At the same time, the stress state of head of the tank is improved, and the installation requirements are also reduced. Bottom entry agitator is also beneficial for mixing of materials in the bottom, which can get full mixing of all material.

Bottom entry agitators are good choices for outputs from bottom of tank , which can make the discharge port mixing well.  Bottom entry agitator are designed to fit into the bottom or side of a mixing vessel. These high shear mixers are typically used in conjunction with a slow speed anchor stirrer or scraper unit for high viscosity products.
