Catalytic activated carbon removes chloramines from drinking water
Activated Carbon Description
Activated Carbon products are well known for their signature physical properties. Very large internal surface areas characterised by microporosity along with relatively high hardness and low dust make these carbons particularly attractive for water and critical air applications.
Activated Carbon Features
• Porous
• High absorption capacity
• Made available in several specifications
Activated Carbon Application
Activated Carbon is commen used for purification process of drinking water and ground water, treatment of industrial and municipal waste water is carried out by activated carbon. The major objectives in using granular activated carbon (GAC) are the removal of taste and odour including organic compounds, overall organics (like DOC, TOC), pesticides, detergents, suspended solids and excess, chlorine etc.
