1.Look at the color:Observe the color of garnet sand, which is pink, light red, or dark red, and the more better quality the more red color , JH Garnet sand is dark red.
2.Touch the hardness: Rub with your hand, and then observe the degree of garnet sand chalking, a good hard garnet sand has high hardness and not easy to be powder. JH Garnet Sand is the hardest almandine in garnet sand with a Mohs hardness of 7-8.
3.Identify impurities:Take the same number of different manufacturers of sand into the mineral water bottle (half a cup of sand is better, generally 1: 9 ratio), then filled with water, and shake it , compare the turbidity of water, and observe whether there is floating Impurities.
4.Look at the size distribution:The old user usually grabbed a handful of sand in the hand and then they can identify, the new user can take a very small amount of sand on the white paper, Simply check if there are larger particles or smaller particles.
