HWS-1000C series COD sensor is a new generation of environmentally friendly COD/TOC sensor launched by Hybono, without reagents, no pollution, more economical and environmentally friendly. Compact size, more convenient installation, can continuously monitor water quality online, automatically compensate for turbidity interference, with automatic cleaning device, even with long-term monitoring still has excellent stability.
Measuring principle:
Many organic substances dissolved in water can absorb ultraviolet light. Therefore, the total amount of organic pollutants in water can be measured by measuring the degree of absorption of these organic substances to 254nm wavelength ultraviolet light. HWS-1000C series sensors use two light sources, one 254nm ultraviolet light and one 360nm ultraviolet reference light, which can automatically compensate for the attenuation and turbidity of the optical path, so as to achieve more stable and reliable measured values.
